Many former classmates don't know about the existence of the
Hicksville Newsletter. Please do some advertising of your own and
give those on your mailing lists the link...
We would love to see the mailing list grow!  Thanks

7PM – Midnight
The 50 Year Reunion Banquet Holiday Inn

… a cocktail hour from 7pm to 8pm, with butler passed hot hors d'oeuvres (9 different
types) followed by a dinner buffet. There will be DJ music, some surprises, dancing &
reminiscing from 8pm to midnight. Below is a tentative menu, tentative because choices for
the evening have to be selected. We will be asking, in advance, all attending to get their
input on which hot chafing dishes to select along with various pastas and the infamous
carving stations.)

Accommodations for September 12 – 14

We have been able to get a block of 20 rooms for rent at the Holiday Inn for the
weekend of Friday 9/12/14 and Saturday 9/13/14 for a reduced rate of $139/night.

The number for booking a reservation is (516) 349-7400. To
obtain the special rate, tell the operator that you are booking for
a high school reunion and mention the special group code HH5!
Once those are all booked, we can get rooms about 2 or 3 miles away at the Melville
Marriott for a similar price. Anyone coming a distance should try to book
especially the rooms at the Holiday Inn ASAP. They will also extend that
discounted price to Thursday, 9/11/14 for anyone wanting to come in earlier.
